What is IQ?
An IQ, or Intelligence Quotient, is a score derived from a standardized test used to measure various aspects of a person’s intelligence. IQ tests aim to measure short and long-term memory. They also measure how well people can solve puzzles and recall information they’ve heard — and how quickly. There are a wide variety of IQ tests that attempt to measure these things, though there is no one approved test, and each have their strengths and weaknesses
Once a subject completes their chosen test, their IQ score is then compared to the population as a whole to determine where their level of intelligence stands in comparison to a larger population and who have all undertaken the same standardized test.
Why take a Free IQ test?
IQ scores are used for educational placement, assessment of intellectual disability, and evaluating job applicants. In research contexts, they have been studied as predictors of job performance and income. IQ Scores are also used to study distributions of psychometric intelligence in populations and the correlations between it and other variables. With so many uses, it is both interesting and helpful to take an IQ test and get an understanding of your cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
